This Paris based five piece, Undercover Slut have graced the pages of our Scumscene on more than one occasion, and with their PVC and glitter, 'O' was more than happy to do a mini interview with me!

How would you best describe your music?
'Industrial glamour punk!' A violent mix of perverted emotions while watching humanity's decline.

Is it important to have image in the music industry?
Every single mother fucker has an image, but some are just better looking ones then others...

Why did you decide to form the band?
To cure myself mainly. To escape boredom & reality, a fucked up D.I.Y therapy that works.

Are you a well recognized band in Paris?
Well loved & hated too! No mixed feelings here! Attraction or rejection... envy or jealousy...

You were recently in the USA doing some promotion, how did that all go?
Worth it! 'Sadistic Sampler' is now available in the best independent record stores in New York fuckin' City and Hollyweird!

Where do your main musical influences come from?
Everywhere. Everything! From 70's glam rock to Y2K gangsta rap! I'm a smartass R'N'R thief...

What do you think of nu-metal bands like Slipknot?
Fashion sucks! Nu-metal is fashion now, it should die out pretty soon like grunge did a few years ago!

Most bands on the scene come from the USA or the UK, being from Paris has it been more difficult to get recognized?
Not anymore since the Internet! Bands over here suck and we don't! We receive E-mail's and snail mail from all over the fucking world. a sign some things goin' on for UCS!

Since appearing in a few issues of the Scumscene section of Kerrang, have many people show an interest in the band?
Tons! Over 500 e-mails since our last write up in Kerrang! Our mailing list has become huge! We're in touch with people from all over Europe, USA, Japan, Australia, Russia,South Africa...

Do you have any plans to come to the UK for promotion?
We should be in your kingdom next year hopefully...

Has your image made it easier to get recognized?
Fuck yeah! But image is part of the 'therapy' thing not a marketing tool!

If you were stranded on a desert island what 10 things would you take to entertain yourself?
TV, VCR, video collection, CD player, CD collection, some pornography, unlimited quantity of caffeine and cocaine, gallons of fresh milk, and my weapon collection.

What's your main aims for the coming year?
I wanna be one sick motherfuckin' rockstar! No less.

How did you come to the name 'Undercover Slut'?
I stole it from a pornographic comic book! Trying to find it now is not easy though.
